What does the code reader say it is ? Sounds like the ISC (Idle Speed Controller) or IAC (Idle Air Controller) has issues.

ty so much, i will check that immediately, hopefully its like the old cars & just a slight turn of the screw. I dont even know where it is on this damn car. Had it for 3 months, paid for warranty & extra warranty & they are saying not enough has been paid in to have the warranty active. Ive never heard of such BS. These cars are a nightmare. ty for your help fordtudor, talk soon

Sounds like BS to me as well. The ISC or IAC is attached to either the throttle body itself or the EGR coolant plate (Ford design). find the air filter and follow it up to the intake manifold. In that area you will find the ISC or IAC and you will know it by the wires attached to it. Look up a replacement item online like thru NAPA and you will get an idea of what your looking for.

You need to contact GM customer Care. Your warranty is fully active at the time you drive it off the lot.
