Really wouldn't know until the vehicle got scanned for codes. Auto Zone will do this for free, Just write down the codes and post them back here.
Only way to know is to have the code scanned, which can be done at any parts store for free, or by your mechanic or dealership for a fee. The parts store might give you some suggestions based on the code pulled, or you can post them here.

Unless you are a mechanic, or just want one of these scanners, there is no need to buy one. There are plenty of parts stores that will scan your vehicle for codes.
