Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Did they get all the bugs out of the M5 SMG Transmission?  If i buy a 2010  BMW M5 with 65k- 85k miles and i dont drive this car hard would I be okay and not have SMG issues?

Couldn't tell you for sure. I know people don't really like the SMG because it tends to be much less reliable than the manual, and less reliable than a regular automatic. It shouldn't cause you any problems if it's driven every now and again.
