SOS call system malfunction on 2010 BMW 650i

I have a 2010 650i and I receive the
message, “high battery drain”. After a few
minutes the radio will shut off and I get a
message “sos call system malfunction”
Any ideas?

If you have replaced the battery (especially with a non-OBE battery) then it may need to have the battery type programmed into the ECU. If the ECU isn’t programmed correctly then it won’t provide the correct charge. Of course there could be a ton of other causes, bad relay, coroded/frayed wire/ground, alternator, etc. But non programmed battery (if recently changed is a likely culprit.
