I drive a 645 and it is my daily driver. It drives great and I get about 18 mpg around town in stop and go traffic...just made a road trip from Texas to Kansas and averaged 29 mpg over the whole trip...couldn't believe it!

No BMW is a daily driver. The ride is so bad they break your teeth. None of them really get that great of gas mileage. They break if you look at them the wrong way. Only reason to get one really is to play or if you have extra money to blow.

You can always go with AMG. At least they are comfortable to drive every day. They dont handle quite as well as the BMW but they do handle very well. I just find a Mercedes has the perfect mixture of comfort and and performance. If I were still 18 it might be different. lol The thing that annoys me the most about BMW is the interior rattles. Everything rattles in those cars. Esp an E70. To me it just makes the car feel cheap.

You can drive it every day. It's a great car but not as good as my Mercedes. It does require alot of maintenance. BUt it's a BMW, what did you expect? The more it cost, the more maintenance. My Mercedes also requires heavy maintenance. They are luxury cars. You are going to pay luxury prices, too! Quit whining or get a Ford or Chevy. They are cheaper to own and probably just as much fun.
