Asked by karts2010 May 16, 2014 at 10:24 PM about the 2010 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: General

Hi,
I have a toyota camry 2010 LE. I recently noticed that the gear shifts from Drive to
Neutral without me having to hit the brake. Is that normal?

Thanks,
KS

Yes. I used to flick it to N on my girlfriend to freak her out while in the driveway. It works like that on all the Camrys I have owned. Makes for a good practical joke too!

Every automatic vehicle is that way so you can slap it into neutral fast.
