Hi i have a '09 porsche cayenne which when on traffic light i normally put the gear to "N" and once the lights are green i put to "D" and step on the gas. The acceleration is not v responsive.

Your Cayenne is not a manual transmission! You should just leave the transmission in drive "D" when driving. Unless the car is sitting at idle for an extended period of time time, there is no need to put the car in neutral "N"....and you must have your foot on the brake or use the parking brake as well while in "N"
