Im having the same problem with my 2010 fusion. The only thing i can do is disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset computer then its ok for awhile. Starting to think maybe a security problem. Help would be greatly appreciated

I went to my dealer and they did various tests and ultimately replaced the smart junction box. Knock on wood everything has been great since.

I called Ford and got a claim number to give my dealer. Between that and my dealer I paid only for additional work I had done that had nothing to do with the junction box. You might try to call them, mine was the first they heard of the problem.

How were you able to get this from Ford and have the cost covered?
