Car battery was jumped and next day had battery changed, in my ford fusion could a fuse have burned out if not dimmer switch is normal position and the illumination on steering wheel controls as well as side button to turn the headlights on isn't lit either ??
a twist potentionmeter about knee height, or in the stalk or a separate button...on the mini it is a goofy push and hold push and hold to dim...they must hate potentiometers...silly geese...on the fusion hope to gahd that it isn't like this but the old fashioned "volume knob" for instruments and dash lighting...I'd take a look at the owner's manual to see how dimming is accomplished there...still like the easy old- fashioned way...a fantasy that they stick with what works rather than letting inexperienced product designs take over~

okay has to be in the SJB "smart junction box" fuse 1~~investigating...

35 interior lighting and 36 instrument cluster....still doesn't help us with the dimmer, but now you know WHERE to look for the fuses that may be givin' you trouble...as always...judge_roy~
