i think heater blower fan has gone rogue!?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

hello everyone,
So, my heater was working fine and then all of a sudden BAM! it stopped working. It doesnt turn on at all. I tapped the heater blower under the dash with my foot and the heater turned on, however it stopped working again.... Could this be a failed blower motor? I have a 2009 kia rondo 2.4lt 4cyl
thanks :)

Its not the motor .. I also have a 2009 kia .. its the small plug that goes into the blower on the right hand side if your sitting in the passengers seat.. it likes to melt or fitzzzz up.. I spent the entire MN subzero winter with a metal clothes rod from a wardrobe box pinned between my front seat and that darn pesky plug-in. Be careful you can get shocked if you wiggle it!!! Found that out the hard way.. The crappy part is that wiring unit all it is it's two plugs to wiring cost more than a brand-new blower!!! Probably because I knew it was faulty.. If you check the consumer reports database several reports have been made about this if enough people complain perhaps we can get a recall!!!
