while changing the spark plugs on my Camaro no.2 and 5 plug has oil dripping from them what could be the cause

Willing to pu money on it being your position rings going bad which lets oil slip buy to enter the chamber which gass and air mix and the spark plug lights now for bad news only way to fix is to rebuild now while the car will still run it will lose even more power time

Was the oil on the outside of the plugs, or on the of the part that screws into the engine "the electrode"? If it was on the outside of the plug, you might have leaking valve cover gaskets.

86 Camaro sat for 10 yrs, turns over but no fuel pressure. replaced pump and don't hear it running. Also no spark either. tried to do diagnostic scan, but check engine light wont come on to read codes, also no oil or temp gauges light up either. It ran great before I stored it. I have a 1989 Camaro RS V6. On my way home from work yesterday I noticed that all my guages are floating the speedometer was bouncing around between 60 and 70 sporadically. The temperature gauge, oil gauge, rpm and gas gauge were all floating around when I slow down they all start coming back down? For just a second I smelt a very strong burning smell (electrical) that very quickly faded. The SES light has been on constant the whole time this is happening. Same thing was happening on the way to work this morning car is running and driving just fine. I guess today when I get home I can check the codes to see what codes I get as a starting point and work my way from there. I will also check the ground wires to see if maybe I am not getting good connection somewhere. Could it be my battery by chance? Maybe even a stripped wire somewhere?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 4 Answers
