Different fuel pump connections

I bought a new fuel pump for my 2005 ford
explorer v8 and the wires arent correct but when I
look up the part at any store it's the one the sent
me but it isnt the same one as in the suv

Are you the original owner? If not, then someone else may have used an incorrect pump. Another answer may lie in the part store catalogs. Many use the same information and that source may be corrupt. Try a Ford dealer.
