Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced it because the fuel level
sensor went out it is a 2009 Dodge
Ram 1500 5.7 liter hemi crew cab
short box put in a brand new Delphi
fg0889 fuel pump Cleaned the top of
the tank before I removed the old
pump to keep excess debris from
falling in. now all it will do is turn the
engine over and won't fire. I've tried
cycling the key to let the fuel pump
purge the system itself but doesn't
seem to be doing any good any help

Recheck connections at pump and check fuel pump fuse and relay.
