Static on radio

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I only get static on FM and AM radio but when i put a CD in I can hear it
same with if I plug my I POD though the AUX cord. Does anyone know why it
is doing this

Sounds like the antenna connection at the back of the radio may not be plugged in or other problem related to the antenna.
