09 Passat transmission

Have a 09 Passat. 67000 miles.  When
slowing down to turn and get pack on the
gas I have a hesitation before the
transmission downshifts and takes off

Sounds like it could just be a shift solenoid. Should stop in at a transmission shop for proper diagnosis.
