2009 Avalanche LTZ - Stabilitrack, ABS, Traction Control lights on and wont go away

Asked by MORGANS Mar 21, 2016 at 10:26 AM about the 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Drove my truck to work and parked it all day for 9 hours in 40 degree weather (80 degrees the day before). Started the truck to leave work and 3 alerts popped up that I had never seen on this truck before - "Service Stabilitrak, ABS, Traction Control Off" were on all of the way home (30 mile drive) and cannot get them to go off. My husband checked all wiring, plugs, brakes, fluids, sensors, etc. He changed the oil and then replaced the brake switch hoping that would work (similar issue happened a few years ago on our 2007 Tahoe) - put the battery charger on it, ran it almost out of gas and then filled it full of premium gas and nothing has worked so far. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I had a 2008 Avalanche LTZ 4x4 that I drove for a little over 8 years. In my experience Service Stabilitrak, ABS, and Traction Control Off warnings came up for a wide range of different issues. Everything from low brake fluid to blown transmission triggered those warnings on mine. Are there any other symptoms you've noticed?
