Asked by Jeeeeper Jul 27, 2015 at 06:11 PM about the 2009 Honda Odyssey Touring FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have Honda Odyssey 2009 , when I
put the AC on and set it at low and
high fan I only get hot air , my clutch
engaged and pulls spins , when I
measure the high and low presure
they are equal at about 50-60 psi .
Can someone tell me what is going
on . I do not hear any weird noises
from compressed . Clutch engaged
as soon as I put the AC on and I
could see the pulley in the center

You have a clogged orifice tube filter that goes in the high side line of the A.C system. Best to get a qualified technician to replace filter because the freon has to be removed from system.

Clogged no, blown out yes. The system is circulating without orifice restriction hence the compressor took a dump and threw shrapnel everywhere inside a/c system. Time for the pros.
