Temperature Gauge

My 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee (3.7L) when operating the Temperature Gauge
will go completely to the "C" and I loose heat. No other adverse effects. It is not
over heating. I can place my bare hands on the Hoses after running to
operating temperature. Any Help??
