2005 Ford escape car alarm going off for no reason

My car alarm has been going off for no
reason at all. It started 3 weeks ago after I
moved out to the country, and it only goes
off when I'm at work and my cat has NO
other cars around it. It's really
embarrssing and annoying.

Make sure that you don't have a door ajar lamp on and isolate your remote clicker so that none of the buttons are being pushed when your keys are in your purse.

my 2005 ford escape has been doing the same thing and the door ajar light does come on even when i'm driving. i've checked all doors and the hood,opened and shut them all and this is still happening.
