2009 Altima 2.5S will not start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My son's 2009 Altima will not start. We had to replace 2 Ignition coils and in
the middle of doing a drop test the car shut off and will not crank. The starter
makes a small clicking noise when trying to start the car. I am thinking the
starter went at the time we were working on it. The other thing that happened
is that the  Service Engine Soon light does not light up at all. Has anyone else
ever had this happen???

The fuses are not numbered in the fuse box of the engine compartment...where would I find the #42 fuse?

Your gut instinct says starter gave out and it's gonna go get replaced. Disconnect battery this time then install . Your old starter may test ok but since it quit under load you don't wanna have it quit on you down the road somewhere

Your Answer:

Altima
