Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2009 chrysler town and country touring 3.8. Van
ran fine with no signs of trouble. Started and ran
fine while pulling out of the driveway in the
morning. Went to pull it back in to the drive at night
but it seemed like there was no power. Checked
the new battery (replaced two weeks ago) battery
showed 12.54 volts on my fluke multimeter. Win
ignition module was replaced twice under recall.
This time it just didn't feel like the others did while
inserting key and rotating. May be an issue, maybe
not. Van did not fire while being jumped and no
light came on. Today tried to start and had
temporary power. Van started and moved it back
ten feet, lights began to flash on the dash and van
was dead again. No power of any kind again. Is
this related to the original recall fix from the
wireless ignition module, or could it be ecm based
knowing that the battery is good?

Fluke multimeter! and your asking for help? Chrysler king of Failed computers.. BUT, not so fast these vehicles use the braided "bonding" straps make sure ALL, of them are still intact and attached test them for...Resistance with the Fluke. Finally The engineers decide it was a good idea to let the PCM control the alternator / battery regulator for charging ? check for 13.4-14.8 volts output at the battery terminals at idle. If you can scan it again with DBRIII the factory scan tool for Chrysler. Regards

I work on heavy machinery, and classic bikes as a hobby. Not typically used to working on people movers haha. I'll try what was suggested, thanks for the help.
