Why does my check engine light come on when I use cruise control for a period of time?

Asked by ChrisRuggles Mar 11, 2016 at 03:10 PM about the 2009 Chrysler Town & Country LX FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I drove my van about 100 miles with out using the cruise control, not check engine light.  I drove my van to the same destination using the cruise control and about half way there, the check engine light came on.  I tried to see what codes come up when I turn the key 3 times and nothing comes up.  Just DONE...

take it to autozone or some place that will read the code for free, unless it's showing other symptoms it is hard to say why it's popping up.
