2009 Kia Borrego front and rear AC blower only runs on high

Asked by Bopains Sep 05, 2015 at 12:00 PM about the 2009 Kia Borrego EX V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2009 Kia Borrego 6cyl has front and rear switches for AC and heat.
Both motors will blow but only on high. Moving the toggle switches up and
down does not change the motor speed. Could this possibly be a fuse or
resistor issue?

I suspect you only have 1 motor with a damper vent and the resistor pack is bad that controls the motor

I am having a similar problem. When it's hot and humid outside and I need AC and run the rear AC. The rear AC switches to heat and will blow hot only. I found that it will reset if I disconnect the rear panel and reconnect it. Why would this be?
