I'm the owner of a 2009 Tiguan just recently a message saying engine fault workshop has appeared I'm not sure what it means can someone help me. Thanks

well a good place to start is take it and have the codes read for the engine light. You can go to a vw specialist shop to have it properly diagnosed since most obd testers don't have the full soft ware to tell you whats really going on under the hood. its 128$ Canadian at the vw dealer tohave it diagnosed.
