Question type: Car Customization

I bought my 09 Grand Marquis used and it was a fleet vehicle.  It has daytime running lights and I haven't seen any more cars with this feature on the road. Is it possible to turn them off? Does anyone know how or have done it to your car? Any info would be good.

It should have a separate relay just for the drl but that relay might power something else. my advise see if you can find it and pull it out and see what happens. There is a way i am sure but don't know for sure how without looking at a wiring diagram.

Hi, when I bought my 07 MGM the DRL were not on. I wanted them on. I took it back to the dealer where I bought it and they turned them on for me. I don't remember how, but I know they can be turned off also. Maybe a call to the Mercury service department. Hope this helps some. It is not anything to do with a relay though. I wish I could remember for you. Good luck and enjoy your new car!
