My car has over 232,000 miles. Is it worth keeping? How well does engine and Tranny hold up on this model?

I am concerned about how many more miles I can get from this car, with such high miles on it. Anyone out there know if they can go over 235,000 miles with no major problems?

The vehicle in the picture is not a 2009 sable.

This car is a 1999 Mercury Sable. Sorry, dont know how 2009 got posted. Anyone have info on this model? How many miles can it average on engine/tranny? TY

Drive it with love mine has almost 270,000 and not even a engine knock. Remember to have your tranny fluid switched out just check for colour and shavings. Colour should NOT be burnt and NO metal shavings
