Tanya, I would suggest scanning the computer for codes. Is there a check engine light? I would still scan it and see what it says. Some auto parts stores will scan it free and that should give you a place to start. Also, check all the fluid levels under the hood. especially the trans fluid and the coolant. If the car is jerking and it isn't engine related it could be transmission related. I had a truck once that made a gurgling fluid sound and it was low on coolant.

There is no engine light on...will definitely have it scanned nd re-check the fluids! Thank- you..hopefully doing one of those things will lead me to my answer....
