Flood car

Asked by Ksdude Jan 20, 2016 at 12:51 PM about the 2009 Cadillac CTS 3.6L AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a wrecked 2009 Cadillac CTS and
wanted to know what all I would have to do
if I bought a flooded 2010-2012 Chevy
Camaro LS or LT to make it work since the
engines are the same?

I can tell you the engines are not exactly the same. The Caddy has the LY7 engine and the newer Camaro used the LLT or LFX engine depending on what year car. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_High_Feature_engine

I personally would not buy a flood car to drive as there are all kinds of issues that can be a problem from mold to electrical, mechanical and the brakes.
