Wheel bearing on a 2009 Ford flex

So I change my Rear wheel bearing on my flex
and I had to press it out but put the new one
in I didn’t have to press it in I got told you can
just tighten the bolt to tighten it in place is that   
True or should I press it in

I would press it in to make sure it's done correctly. It can't go in crooked. But if you feel lucky.
