Does the 09 Chevy Malibu LTZ 4 cyl have remote start?

Asked by WALTON81 Mar 25, 2013 at 11:26 AM about the 2009 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ FWD

Question type: General

Purchased a 09 Malibu LTZ and its a great car. The previous owner did not trade the car in with keyless entry and i want to repalce them. I see there are two types of remotes online (remote start & standard) and I want to know if the 09 LTZ 4cyl came with the remote start to ensure I get the correct one.

I would check with the dealer or a Malibu forum to see what options and equipment came with the car. On my Pontiac the list is on the back of the spare tire cover. Take a look at your and snap a picture or two with your digital camera. --- I thought my Pontiac had keyless entry because of the standard electric door locks. It didn't and I have a pair of useless remotes in the desk drawer.
