Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Accelerated from stop light and car would not go (2009 Malibu 4 cyl) finally went but only first gear!  Put in manual mode and it does shift to second. No reverse either.  Gauges are acting funny.....power steering and service light warning comes on and off.  Check engine light on.  ?????????

Computer issues? Take it to someone that can test the computer modules to make sure the sensors are giving the correct reading and it is acting the correct way on the information received. Or take it out to a field and shoot it and dig a deep hole to put it in. OOPS it's not a horse.
