2009 Forester will not start, no display lights, no interior or exterior lights, nothing works. Why?
Temperatures had been in the teens. Went out in the morning and it wouldn't
start. Jumped it, it started fine, drove for a hour. Then no start again.
No electrical function. Help!
I am guessing your battery is dead. Cold reduces the battery power so you need a good one when it gets cold.
Put a new battery in it already
Did you clean and tighten the battery cable ends and the battery terminals?
Yes. Placed a brand new battery in it.
Perhaps your alternator is not charging. Auto parts stores will test yours for free. If you have a volt meter you can check it yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGB6ZEjGm7Q
Problem fixed. The cable was loose on post
Thanks for the update.
