Low idle.

Asked by ryanmb Jul 20, 2015 at 01:12 PM about the 2009 Pontiac Vibe 2.4L

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car started turning over slow for 2-3 days. Then it was dead. Got a jump and it started up just fine. Had the battery tested and it was bad. Put in a new battery and now my car is running rough. It idles real lkow when I come to a stop. It seems fine when I'm driving at any speed. Just idles low when I'm at stop and the car is in Drive and when its in Park. Replaced the batery 3 days ago.

how does changing the battery affect the mass air flow sensor genius firebird338. Especially if the car was running perfect before battery change that should not affect air flow sensor
