Turns over won't start

Asked by yulichka Dec 06, 2019 at 12:44 AM about the 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Crew Cab 4WD

150 k on the truck. quart every 1500 miles, GM service diagnostics
replace cam ,lifters, (AFM), baffle? I had tried Mobile 1 10/30 started
lifter noise, that's when diagnostics were done at the dealer. Now
engine turns over won't start. 50PSI fuel pressure when key is on,
there is spark when cranking.

50 psi on the fuel line might be too low find out what psi is required to open the injectors. 65 to 75 sounds more reasonable. trucks and sports cars are designed along the same lines to produce the fast and the powerful requires same type of fuel consumption and needs more psi just to open the injectors. Oil consumption. ...maybe plugged PVC valve blowing oil out of valve over around plug and connectors otherwise if it were burning you would notice a definite cloud from exhausts. look for leaks in ludington head bolts torked to spec good luck
