My trucks gas gauge won’t work when it’s
rainy but works fine when dry

The sending unit is part of the fuel pump assembly. If the gauge stops working then you have an electrical open somewhere along that circuit that's being caused by moisture. Crawl along the frame looking at the wire harness coming from the tank for abrasions or other signs of bad wiring.
