Is the Toyota frame rust not affecting the 2008 sequoia so much as the Tundra 2007 – 2008?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I posted this question but reviewd and realised it lacked some details.
I m writing from Norway. I have Toyota sequoia 2008 with about 97000 miles
on it. I have been checking and following this issue but most of the time it is
either a Tundra or Tacoma has has much rust.

My truck is in Africa. I made them to check the undercarriage and saw some
rust but I was told it seemed
to be a normal rust. The body shop brushed out the rust with a metal wire
mess. He then treated it with anti-rust and hardener. It was left for a 2 days to
dry and thereafter he undercoated it with truck undercoating - rubberlike
substance. It has been 5 months now. I am yet to let them check how it looks
like

My question is if the frame rust is more with Tacoma, and tundra. I am not
getting more infomation on the 2008 sequoia rust and how owners are
handling it.  Did I happen to be unlucky?

Attached is the worst plate which  was worked on and the whole chassis
sprayed with anti-rust and then topcoated with rubber

Depending on the date your Sequoia was manufactured AND placed in service, it might be--- Toyota just started a new campaign last month---if yours has 10 mm holes in the frame, it might qualify. OR if it gets holes of this size within 12 years of the date it was placed in service. You must have a Toyota tech examine it in order to find out--
