Something happened to the DVD player, how do I fix it?

Your not very descriptive about "something happened to." CD or DVD there isn't much you can do to fix it. If it isn't a fuse. It is part of another component, called the radio. The dealer may be able to reset the computer, but if not you are going to have to replace it and the dealer will have to set the anti-theft setting so it will work with the car. Either way BMW has got you where they want you with the promise of nothing but their professional service.
