I am thinking to buy a 2008 750i with 74k on it, How much should I expect on maintenance

Asked by tka198 Feb 04, 2015 at 07:55 AM about the 2008 BMW 7 Series 750i RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The first owner drove only like 7 k per year but the second owner drove 40 k in 1.5 year. I saw the wheels had scratches on the allow especially the rear ones. Carfax shows maintenance record for the first owner but not much for the second owner. I took a test drive and did not feel any issues with driving, accelerating or braking. No lights were on, at the display panel

A BMW 750i will be very expensive to maintain and repair. Be sure you research this vehicle carefully before you buy. A BMW dealer can give you some idea as to what is required on periodic maintenance. Call a dealership and speak to the service manager about it.

The dealership says ~200 for an oil change between 5k - 10k and 600 for tune up at 100k
