Car won't move once accelerator is pushed it goes all the way to floor it won't do anything

Battery ran down tried to get jumped off but posts
were put on wrong and something smelled like it
blew something so it finally crank but it won't drive
forward or backwards the accelerator goes all the
way to the floor my car won't move!

So you reversed polarity. You may end up repairing or replacing a lot of things. At this point you are at the mercy of your mechanic so find a good and honest one.

Chances are you blew out the 120 amp fuse located under the hood in the Fuse/Relay Box. Not easy to replace. I think it is bolted in and requires disassembly of the Fuse/Relay box. I agree with the above. Best to have it towed to a repair shop.

On the other had...if the vehicle starts up and runs....it might need a "Re-learn" procedure performed. However...if you smelled something bad....that's not a good sign. Get her checked out by a competent Auto Technician. Good Luck...and get back to us with results.
