My Service Engine Soon Light just came on ...........
Noticed that my gas cap was difficult removing and the center metal portion came off from the plastic portion of the cap.
Also the tether that holds the cap from falling was jammed on the sealing surface of the cap-to- tank which may have caused the light to come on ????
Getting a new cap .........Will this light extinguish in time as I drive it with the new replacement cap ???
I put a OBD scanner on the car , but read NO CODES ????
