If it’s a box truck or customized can recommend checking ALL fuses in the box located under the drivers seat. I had exact same problem - no tail lights but flashers and brake light work - on 2 different trucks (GMC and Chevy). Both times I’ve found tail lights tied into their on fuse - separate from fuse 15 which is listed as tail lights/brake light combo. I think it was fuse 4 and a 7.5 amp fuse - replaced blown fuse and tail lights back in service

2006 Chev. Express cutaway van w/ Royal enclosed contractor body. Same problem, lost tailights but still had brake lights and turn signals. Checked all fuses under under hood, found to be good. On above advice, checked fuses under the drivers seat. Had to go thru them all but found one blown. Replaced it with like fuse and everything is back on. Can't go by the labeling, the blown fuse was labled as something entirely different. 15amp fuse.

I have a 2007 chevy express van 2500 tialights, front markers and license plate light not working. I as a mechanic found the problem: white signal wire going from BCM (body control module) to fuse block (under driver seat) has an internal opening. so that's why the relay # 29 (park lamp relay) was not recieving signal to close the circuit. I spliced a new wire and now they all work. (brake lights, turn signals and flasher always worked). My LORD (GOD) AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS GOOD. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

2005 Chevy Express 3500 I checked all of the above and everything checked out. Went ahead and took the taillight housings off and noticed that the running light illuminated when I put pressure on the bulb one way. Upon inspection of the socket, the tines that contact the bulb were worn and not clamping to make a connection on the bulb base. I took a tiny flathead screwdriver and bent them in gently and Whala! we have taillights.
