2008 dodge grand caravan

Tried to start my van this cold morning, it has been sitting in driveway for a
month without driving it, it has been very cold. when i turned the key it was just
making a clicking sound, lights were flickering and dash lights were also
flickering. Then i locked the car and it barley made a noice, now i can't open the
van with the remote key.

Batterys dead. If lights were flickering an even the low noise when u lock it.

Thank you! I have CAA, but how will they get in the van now that i locked it but now can't get back in because the key won't work.

Its a keyless entry? An worst case u can take a screw driver to the door an frame of the cab. Pry it just enough to put a clothes hanger in an pop the lock.

Or if u have jumper cables or know somebody u can get jumped then let the van run for like 20 mins. Ur alternator will rejuice the battery unless the battery is shot. But if u hook up cables ull have enough juice to unlock it.

Yes an no. If when u turn the key an some lights go on an off or it makes a noise that meams theres still juice an the alarm is still functional as a last resort to protect its self. If its completely dead for atleast 15 mins then ur pcm is shut down meaning nothing is running all power has been shut off. An itll be good. But do NOT disconnect that battery till u get it started or else when u do try to start it with a good battery the alarm will lock u out.
