Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was wondering what the standard cost for this maintenance is.  I just had it done and was astounded by the costs.  So, I'm curious.  Can I get a few ideas?  I'm in Ohio if that makes a difference.

oh, these 21st Century cars- very complicated, modern machines- and they require a great deal of professional maintenance- but, if they get perfect maintenance, they are capable of going a lot of miles without problems- so, if you have a real pro mechanic do ALL the required maintenance, yes, it is going to be expensive- but hopefully it will enable you to avoid any REAL expensive repairs- that's the idea, anyway-
