Replaced starter and alternator on my F150, but still having troubles..

Asked by Jun 30, 2017 at 01:39 PM about the 2008 Ford F-150 XLT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck stopped working one morning so I
replaced the starter. It worked, but started having
troubles lagging to start up. Naturally I thought it
was the battery so I had it tested, but it tested fine.
I took the alternator out and found out it's bad so I
replaced that. I am still having the same issue
though... I'm a girl and usually work on Chevy or
Nissan, but I know nothing about Ford really.. Can
someone please give some advice? The battery
says it's fine and I charged it after replacing the
alternator just in case.
