Blower unit failure

I have a 2008 F150, 4.6 V8
While driving with my AC on and fan on high, the fan (blower) briefly cut in and out and then blower stopped working. I checked the blower fuse and it looks good. I checked the Blower relay and the guy at autozone said if the relay is bad then I will hear clicking under the hood while the motor is running. I hear no clicking. I looked on the internet and found some videos showing how to replace the Blower Motor Resistor so I installed a new Blower motor Resistor. The blower is still not working. While driving on the highway with the AC on there is a little cold air coming out of the vents however, if I switch it on inside air source (max AC) then the air flow stops. Whatever is under the glove box is getting cold and the AC is working.
Does anyone have an idea how I can get the blower working again?
I have never changed my inside air filters and they may be clogged but would that stop the blower unit from working?
Can anyone direct me to a forum that can help?
sounds like the blower motor itself is no good, you can check with a meter to see if you have power at the motor.
Mine does not work on high. replaced motor and it does the same thing. Resistor also replaced with no results. what else could it be? the auto temp control?
while I driving, the blower motor (at the radiator), is staring constantly, now is happening very frequently, I can hear the blower when staring but it did not happen before, in fact I check the motor temperature and this is fine, not over heat. Can anyone direct me? or help me?. Thanks

Any luck figuring out what the problem was? I’m having the same kind of problem, but I can turn the A/C of for a few seconds and something’s the blower works when I turn the A/C back on.
I just fixed this problem on a 2010 XLT SCREW 4x4. At first I took the lazy way out which is also the cheapest and swapped out the resistor. Same problem was happening with the new resistor so I pulled the blower motor. With an ohm meter I check continuity while spinning the squirrel cage by hand. In my case there was a lot of dead spots in the windings. Ohm meter confirmed a bad blower motor. Put the old resistor back in with the new blower motor problem solved $140 later. For my truck speeds 1, 2 and 3 were dead and 4 would work intermittently and eventually shut off completely. Hope this helps.
@miloja, the unit by the radiator is a compressor. If it's starting and stopping constantly then you need a charge R134a.
I have a similar issue my blower / vents wont shut off. I can turn the AC / heat on and it will work fine but I can't control speed hi low medium. I replaced the blower motor resistor and now the air wont even blow at all. I put the old back in and it blows air again but can't control speed. Exchanged the resistor for another one and same issue. Why does the old resistor work half way but a new one wont work at all?
I am having same problem but I put new resistor in and it worked shut truck off tried again and then didn’t work. Please help
I got 2 duralast ones from autozone and they did not work. I am going to try the motor craft one. I am changing it because the old one gets hot and stops working. I can plug the old one in and all works fine until it gets to hot BUT the duralast ones DO NOT WORK. I will see in another day if the motorcraft one does. This may be the issue
This is the old one and obviously it is burnt and the reason it is getting hot. I also changed the connector. The only thing I can think of is that the duralast although they say are compatible are simply not... depending on if the motorcraft one will work. I will update in a couple days.
Ok now I know.... FACT one: 2 resistors Duralast from autozone did not work. FACT two: OEM MOTORCRAFT...... PROBLEM SOLVED! HOPES THIS HELPS SOMEONE!
