Infinity ex35 '08

I changed the battery, without knowing that
the charge had to be kept to keep the
computer running......... Now my key fob
sometimes isn't recognized. A couple days a
week I'll stand outside my car with the fob
and key in hand and can't get into my car for
sometimes 10 to 15 minutes. Then all of a
sudden pushing the access demand button
starts working again. Any suggestions on
how to repair this problem?
