No power

Asked by GuruZ9QLG Oct 08, 2017 at 12:58 PM about the 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 jeep with the Seidel engine 3.0 litre
v6.  It has no power off the start. I went and had the
fuel filter replaced but it only helped a little bit. What
else could it be?

Replacing the fuel filter is a good first step. Then check the air filter and replace it if it's clogged. Diesels need lots of air. And if it's got lots of miles, the injector pump sometimes wear so there's not enough pressure to deliver enough fuel under acceleration. This info applies to all diesels and your Jeep too. Good Luck.
