I have tried to list the VIN for my vehicle that is for sale. It keeps saying you already have a listing for that #. How can that be?

Question type: General

As stated above, I am trying to enter the VIN for my listing and it continues to
say that you already have a car with that VIN.  How can that be.  I am reading
the VIN from my car?  What do you suggest?  Thank you.

If your car has been put up for sale on this site within the past 30 days, the VIN number will still be listed in the system and it will show "there is a listing for this VIN already". What you can do is post without the VIN number, then after the 30 days has elapsed add the VIN to your listing. I've had to do this as well.
