My map lights as well as the visor lights just went out? No fuse blown, any ideas?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The lights in the car don't come on when I open the door to get out or in. They don't come on when I use
the keyless entry as well. Don't know what happen, just started doing this the other day.

Pull a bulb and see if you have power and a ground. It's one or the other. If the lights used to dim when they went out, they are controlled by the body control module. Hope for a loose connection.

What about if you switch them on manually? Still no? tenspeed is correct, but to elaborate just a little you can get a tester cheap..it's just a little light with 2 wires, red and black, put the black on a ground other than the bulb ground and the red on a contact. If it does not light, try the other contact. All this with the door open. Also tenspeed has an excellent point about a loose connection, those dimmers are a pain and can be expensive...and are you talking ALL interior lights? (I don't mean dash lights) but did any other device quit?
