Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2 Weeks before I had an accident and i crashed the front part of the car. The front
Bumper and the Hood were hardl damaged but the Airbags did not open. I have heard that
there is in the front part of the car a chip which activates the airbags in any crash, even if
the crash was with 20 km/h. Is that true? Why did the airbags did not open?
